Drive Thru

Last Friday I went to the amazing Mercedes Drive Thru with Florrie.

Everything Bompas & Parr do is always spectacularly magical and this most certainly didn’t disappoint…

So sadly neither of us drive or were organised enough to get a driving friend involved so we went as pedestrians to the incredible revolving restaurant.

As we arrived we were given these cool menus, deciding was most difficult but I eventually made my mind up …

I decided to go for the ‘BIG MERC’ and the ‘VIOLET AND ELDERFLOWER SODA’ I was then asked if I wanted to ‘MERC’ up my drink a little with some tanqueray gin, so it was the middle of the day but of course I did ( it was Friday after all)

Our order was taken we took our seats in the revolving restaurant, I stupidly said I’ll go get a seat by the window’ haha completely forgot the restaurant was revolving!!! The table and chairs were all covered in a salami print, which made me feel like i was part of a sandwich it was great!

As the restaurant revolves and you move to the window you can see all the cars coming in and out of the drive thru, it was super fun to watch

I then Scoffed my yummy duck burger in a dougnut and I then felt very very sick as I had stupidly already had a huge thai for lunch, so pretty much had two lunches…i was very full!!

I fell in love with the silver pineapple jar and of course the amazing costumes

Then when you think its all over and decide to leave you are directed to the cheese trolly, served in a car boot…AMAZING!!

It was all super yummy fun whooo!!
